About Me

Hi, I'm Caz. 

Welcome to my new website. With some help from my husband Bryan, we make jewellery, trinkets, miniatures, and many other gifts.

I have over 20 years of experience as an artist across many genres and materials, including book binding, leather masks, jewellery, and much more. Bryan has over 20 years' experience as a veneer preparer and cabinetmaker, as well as being a craftsman in his own right.

The name comes from Bryan forging some miniature knives and swords (coming soon); he was saying, 'I've always fancied forging knives and swords; I never thought I would forge them in miniature. ' And I loved the name.

Though we are called forged in miniature, not all we produce are actually miniature, like my butterflies, for example. The butterflies I have been obsessed with creating for a long time were the obvious first collection to appear on our website.

I will be working on new collections every week, but I do admit I'm a bit like a butterfly myself. Having so many ideas of what I want to create, I will be flitting from one genre and concept to another, so you never know what's going to be next.
